A trade fair floor plan visitors can search

Expo wayfinding starts with a floor plan that answers “where is stand C33?”. STUMaps turns your trade fair floor plan and conference venue map into a searchable, walkable map across halls and floors.

02 — The problem

What goes wrong at a fair

  • Hundreds of stands, and the printed plan is out of date by opening day.
  • Halls on several floors, and the route to a stand upstairs is a guess.
  • Visitors with prams or wheelchairs cannot tell which way avoids stairs.
  • Talks with limited seats fill up, and people walk across the venue for nothing.

03 — The fix

How the map fixes it

The plan becomes a map with every exhibitor, stand and session searchable.

  • Search exhibitors by name, tag or stand number.
  • Routes across floors by stairs, escalators or lifts — or step-free only.
  • Talks on the map with their room, time and limited seats.
  • A kiosk at the entrance that hands the map over to the phone by QR code.

06 — FAQ

Questions

Can you work from our existing floor plan?

Yes. A PDF or image of the plan and a list of exhibitors with stand numbers is enough to start.

How are routes between floors chosen?

The map knows the stairs, escalators and lifts. The normal route takes the quickest; the step-free route takes only lifts.

Does it work for a conference without stands?

Yes. Rooms become places with their sessions; the programme shows what is on now in each room.

Can we put screens at the entrance?

Yes. Kiosk mode shows the map on a large screen with a QR code to take it to the phone, and resets itself when nobody uses it.
